The Greatest Drummer in the World, originally commissioned by The Drill Hall, London, tells the delightful story of a young girl whose passion for playing the drum results in her banishment from her village to the forest. There she stays, playing her drum, until one day she decides she must return, to save her village from destruction by a giant.

This special interactive children's performance incorporates live drumming and storytelling along with 4 original songs by Leon Rosselson: 'Listen to the Sound of the Forest Talking', 'What Will the Villagers Say?', 'Help! Help! The Giant is Coming!' and 'The Greatest Drummer in the World'.

After each performance there's a fun workshop, in the same space, with storytelling, drumming rhythms and singing.

A CD of this show is available.
